Liverpool came from behind to win 2-1 at Manchester City to secure their first champions league semi final.From the first leg city's Raheem Sterling set up Gabriel Jesus for a good finish after only two minutes,Sane scrambled home what seemed a second goal but it was ruled out as off side by referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz this caused Pep Guardiola to march on to the pitch to face off with the referee leading to him being sent off to the stands.
Meanwhile Jurgen Klopp has said his side overcame the best team in the world after goals from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino sealed their Champions League quarter-final qualification.
The Reds will discover their semi-final opponents when the draw is made on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland.
