American professional basketball player Dwayne Wade turned in a vintage performance,scoring 28 points to end the 76ers'17-game winning streak and lead the Miami Heat to a 113-103 Game 2 win over Philadelphia on Monday night and even the first-round playoff series.

Shooting guard Wade made his first seven shots of the game and passed Larry Bird for 10th on the NBA's career postseason scoring list.

Game 3 is Thursday and Game 4 is Saturday in Miami.

Golden State

Defending champions Golden State Warriors beat the San Antonio Spurs 116-101 on Monday night for a 2-0 lead in their first-round series.

Kevin Durant sparked a decisive third-quarter run on the way to 32 points,Klay Thompson added 31 points and five assists in another superb playoff performance

Stephen Curry who's absence may not be missed remains likely out for the entire series due to a sprained left knee.

Game 3 is Thursday as the series shifts to San Antonio.

After two years out of the ring Amir Khan has revealed he is back and targeting a third world title by the end of 2018.

The English welterweight who has not boxed almost two years ago will get into the ring on Saturday in liverpool for a non-title bout against Canada's Phil Lo Greco.

Quadri doubles Up!

Nigeria’s number one table tennis star Aruna Quadri will feature for the first time at the Games today when he competes in the men’s doubles round of 32.

Quadri missed out on the men’s team event due to illness but will partner 43-year-old Segun Toriola in the doubles event against Tomlison Simon and Watson Kane from Jamaica.

Yinka's Race



Nigeria’s Yinka Ajayi made it to the final of the women’s 400 meters at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games scheduled for today.

Yinka who competed in the second semi finals and  finished second with a time of 51.81 secs  also won gold for Nigeria in the 4X400m relay at the 2015 Africa Junior Championships in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
