64 days after he emerged winner in the May 2/3rd Mega Fight against Manny pacquiao,Floyd Mayweather jr has been stripped of the WBO welterweight title he won in the bout,this is because he missed a deadline to pay a $200,000 sanction fee to the WBO and a committee voted to strip him of the title.Reports says The WBO world championship committee announced that it cease to recognize Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the WBO welterweight champion of the world for failing to comply with the WBO regulations of world championship contests,However Mayweather has 14 days to appeal the decision.
