Samir Nasri has posted a photo on Instagram of himself relaxing in his own pool as he continues to recovery from a groin injury .The French midfielder who is out of action until February  looked happy and relaxed as he sat in the pool at his luxury home.Nasri however showed his support for his team-mates and said he was recovering well as he accompanied the picture with the caption: 'Relaxing at home and trying to be back with the team asap. Man City will travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday to take on leaders Chelsea..i guess this is a good luck bid

Super Blues rugby star Tevita Li has dodged a conviction for drink driving.
The New Zealand under-20 and Blues wing Tevita Li, had pleaded guilty to driving with a blood-alcohol reading of 45mg ,The legal limit for under 20s is zero.The case has been adjourned several times for the rugby starlet to prove he should be discharged without conviction.Judge Gus Andree Wiltens granted that application and Li's only penalty was to pay $210 to cover the medical costs of taking and testing his blood-alcohol level.The judge was convinced a conviction may restrict Li's international travel playing rugby and if he later pursued a career overseas, teams may overlook him because of the black mark against his name and this would provide "a real impediment to what so far has been a stellar career".

Eldrick Tont "Tiger" Woods has revealed how he made worldwide headlines a week ago for a missing tooth which was photographed at his girlfriend Lindsay Vonn's ski race on jan 19 in Italy."That didn't feel very good," said Woods, who had traveled unannounced to watch Vonn set a record for victories. "I was looking down, and all the camera guys are below me on their knees or moving all around, trying to get a picture because she's hugging people, saying congratulations to the other racers as they are coming down. 
"Dude with a video camera on his shoulder, right in front of me, kneeling, stood up and turned and caught me square on the mouth. He chipped that one, cracked the other one.
"And so then, you know, I'm trying to keep this thing so the blood is not all over the place, and luckily he hit the one I had the root canal on. That's the one that chipped. But the other one had to be fixed, as well, because it had cracks all through it."
"Oh Jesus, the flight home was a joke," he said. "I couldn't eat, couldn't drink. I couldn't have anything touch it. Even breathing hurt, because any kind of air over the nerve, the tooth that was still alive, was cracked."Woods is playing this week for the first time since he tied for last at the Hero World Challenge in December,This will be his first appearance in the Phoenix tournament at TPC Scottsdale since 2001. He will play in the pro-am this morning.

Boxing superstars Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao have met  for the first time at a basketball game  in Miami and agreed to start negotiations over a £200m ($300m) bout. according to reports Mayweather went over to Pacquiao at half time of the Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks game and the pair shook hands and chatted briefly, then exchanged phone numbers.Mayweather and Pacquiao have never met in person before, but when asked to clarify if the exchange meant the two would negotiate directly about meeting in the ring, Pacquiao said that was the case.
